Brighton rocks to Junior Star Singer Songwriter!
The Junior Star Singer Songwriter Team took a trip down to the coast of Brighton on Saturday 30th June for Brighton's Junior Star Singer Radio Show at Brighton & Hove Community Radio. Main host Amanda Neale was joined by co-presenter Rachael Summers as well as regular Brighton & Hove Community Radio presenter, Susi Oddball. Also joining the show were winners from last year in the best group category, twins Billie and Louie Hughes, who travelled down from Swindon, plus Junior Star Singer judge, Teide Bryce, who also doubled up as our interviewer for our Behind the Mic feature!
Brighton is famous for some great
music artists! with the likes of Rizzle Kicks, The Kooks, Fatboy Slim,
just to name a few who have been huge chart successes over the years. It
has an outstanding music scene boasting live music venues, clubs and festivals
for any emerging artist that is just wanting to grab exposure or just get
involved. Brighton itself has been a popular destination for tourist for
many years, renowned for its diverse communities, quirky shopping experience,
music and arts scene as well as fun beachline coastal attractions. At one point
the city of Brighton has attracted 7.5 million day visitors and has been
called the hippest city and the happiest place to live in the UK.

Scarlett Millar, Ruby Jahnke, Sophie Mizerova and Rowan Wall, check out

Judges will get the chance to judge
who will go through to the Grand Final at a recording studio in London later
